This is the bit I find difficult....writing about me!
I first got behind a camera over 30 years ago, and I still remember the days of developing my film in the darkroom! For years, photography was my passion, and I'm fortunate enough to have turned that passion into my job. For me, it's the best job in the world! I feel lucky to have a career that allows me to pursue my love of photography and use it to capture one of the happiest days two people can share!
I'm a Dorset boy (and proud of it) with my ancestors hailing from the abandoned village of Tyneham, which is now part of the Lulworth Tank Ranges. I travelled the world for quite a while but returned to my roots in Dorset in 2000.
People tell me I have a positive mindset, and I consider myself approachable and good-humoured. I'm definitely a 'Glass half full' person, as I think life is too short to be any other way.
I spend a lot of my time out and about with my camera, and I'm at my happiest when I'm in some remote wood or forest photographing the natural beauty and wildlife. I also enjoy the unique challenges that photographing sporting events bring.....I must be a glutton for punishment!
